On my phone, I also made sure before re-installing that my SD card was formatted as Portable storage instead of Internal storage. (may be different depending on phone, you might not even have to do that)Ĭreate folder under Android - Data on your SD card. Make sure that the folder doesn't exist anymore in Android/Dataīefore opening it go to your phone's Settings - Apps - Spotify - Permissions and make sure that Storage is On. But it might have more to do with my phone though you never know. I'm talking about saving the Spotify songs & playlists I've saved so I can listen to them offline.Įdit 2: Found the solution! Hope this will help you as well. I don't understand why they wouldn't just add an option that allows us to save our music wherever the fuck we want.Įdit: I've realised I wasn't clear. I'm extremely annoyed with Spotify at this point. I even did a factory reset on my phone (& lost everything I had in the process as apparently it didn't save correctly on the external card). I made sure that the quality was set to extreme & also filled up my internal storage, but the downloads still won't go to my empty 32gb Kingston SD card. I looked for any Spotify files that may have been left on my phone before reinstalling it, but nothing was there. Cleared cache & data, did a fresh reinstall over and over and over again. I've done everything I found online and absolutely nothing works. If I'm not in the right place, can someone please point me in the right direction? I've been struggling with this for days and I'm pissed off. I hope this is allowed here, I don't know what to do anymore.
